Destiny Tamara Bankston

Destiny Tamyra Bankston, 36, of Smithville, TX unexpectedly passed away on the evening of November 25th.

Destiny was born on November 15th to Clara Cooper and Bobby Bankston in 1986. She attended Reagan High and Lockhart High Schools.

In 2003, Destiny met Jamie Lee Bledsoe in high school. Destiny and Jamie went on to have three children, Jamari Bledsoe, Tayana Bledsoe, and Brayden Bledsoe. She enjoyed being a mother, singing, doing her make-up & hair, and dressing up. She loved spending time with her close family and friends.

Destiny was predeceased by her parents, Clara Cooper and Bobby Bankston and aunts, Hattie Higgins, Delores Faye Higgins, and Shirley Higgins. She is survived by her children, Jamari, Tayana, and Brayden, her fiancé, Will Brown, brothers, Michael Cooper, Jr., Gary Cooper, Clinton Thomas Cooper, Bryan Cooper, and Desire Ramone Bankston, stepbrother, Vyron Moore, and a whole host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 11:00 AM, at the Shiloh Community Center in Bastrop, Texas.
