David Wayne Decker, Sr.

David Wayne Decker Sr. age 63 of Elgin, Texas, Born November 22, 1960 passed away January 29, 2024 after battling health issues.

David was born in San Marcos, Texas to Herman Jacob Decker and Rose Lanell Decker.  David had 2 siblings, a sister Shawn Ryerson and twin brother Robert Worth Decker.  David was married twice from which he had 3 sons, David Wayne Decker Jr, Matthew Lucas Decker and Robert Ethan Decker.

David was a beloved man who had enough love to give that extended to more than just family.  He was also a man who loved to laugh and crack jokes.  A man who knew life was better than friends and good deep belly laughs. David was not afraid to work with his hands and loved to see a project come to completion.

A Celebration of life will be held Saturday February 10th at 3pm at the Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home in Elgin Tx.
