Concepcion D Martinez

Concepcion D. Martinez, age 77, of Elgin, Texas, passed away at her home on October 11, 2023. Concepcion was born on July 23, 1946, in Austin, Texas.

Concepcion loved to cook. She was known for her delicious tamales which she loved to give away to her friends and family. She enjoyed going to casinos and watching game shows. She liked to donate to various charities and had a very giving and loving heart. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her grandson, Cesadio Rodriguez, Jr. She is survived by her loving husband, Jose Martinez, her sons, Cain Gonzalez and Cesadio Rodriguez, her daughter, Cecilia Gonzalez, her brother, Ricardo Salas, and her sisters, Julia Aleman, Guadalupe Castro, Gloria Musgrove, Bacilia Alvarado, and Juanita Selvera.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow at a later date.
