Christopher Richard Pina

Christopher Richard Pińa, age 53, of Elgin, Texas, passed away on May 22, 2021.

Christopher was born in Elgin, Texas on May 29, 1967 to Richard Pińa and Mary Selvera. He was an Elgin High School graduate. On April 26, 1987, Christopher married Beth Teague and have been together ever since. He worked for EVO Transportation. Christopher’s hobbies included fishing, barbecuing, and spending time together with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Beth, son, Christopher Pińa, Jr. and wife, Veronica, his daughters, Amber Pińa Cortes and husband, Jonathan, and Jessica Pina and husband, Steven Clay, his grandchildren, Christopher Pińa, III, Jeniffer Cortes, Jacob Cortes, Angelina Clay, Steven Clay, Jr., and Alyea Clay, his parents, Richard Pińa and Mary Selvera, his sisters, Debra Vizcarra and Berlinda Hernandez and husband, Joe, his in-laws, Paul and Bessie Teague, his sister-in-law, Betty Davidson, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Christopher is preceded in death by his grandparents, Norberto and Esther Selvera, and Esiquico and Delia Pińa, his uncles, Louis Selvera and Juan Selvera, and his aunt, Belma Selvera.

A Visitation will be held Friday, May 28, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
