Christina Gayle Law

Christina Law, 41, of Austin, TX passed away on October 2nd, 2021.

Christina was born in Austin, TX to Melba Law on August 17, 1980. She graduated from Manor High School in 1999. And had worked towards part of her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology.

Christina worked as an insurance adjuster for Progressive Insurance for 17 years. Christina was dedicated to her family, both blood and adopted. Christina was an excellent baker and always provided all the desserts at family events. She was an avid reader and has probably read more than 1,000 books. Although her absolute favorite thing to do was shop.

Christina is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Iris and Emmanuel Uwagboe, her best friend/sister, Ana Martinez, and her adopted family the Martinez's. Although she did not have her own children, she helped raise her nephew, Dontae McClendon. He provided her with a great niece and nephew, Zariah and DJ. Christina was loved by so many: Deborah and Roland Davis, Pamela Garcia, Angela and Ed Sumner, Bailey and Emily Sumner, Quinnetta and Raymond Gonzales, Renee Davis, and Anna and Matthew Todd along with many more family and friends who are mourning her loss.

Christina was preceded in death by her mother, Melba Law, her grandparents, Wilburn and Quinnetta Law, and her nephews, Garret Sumner and Landon Nobles.
