Cheryl Lynn Littles

Cheryl Lynn (Thompson) Littles was born in San Antonio, Texas on July 16, 1959 to the late Leevorn Thompson, Sr. and Josephine Louise (Love) Thompson.  She entered eternal rest on March 19, 2024.

Cheryl accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at St. Stephens Baptist Church.

Cheryl was enrolled in San Antonio Independent School District and graduated from L.W. Fox Tech High School in 1977.

Cheryl met and married the love of her life, the late Ronald J. Littles on August 27, 1988.

Cheryl and Ronald moved to Beaumont Texas in 1995.

Cheryl moved her church membership to Mount Zion Baptist Church in Beaumont, Texas.

Driven by her passion for service, Cheryl pursued and received her Associate Degree in Dietary Management, dedicating herself to various dietary departments throughout her career until retirement.

Cheryl loved her Honey, Ronald; her Sonny, Derrick; She also loved traveling, cooking, shopping, eating sausage, the Denver Broncos, the San Antonio Spurs, and her shows, (Dancing with the Stars, The Bachelor, and the Bachelorette).

Cheryl is preceded in death by her brother, Leevorn Thompson, Jr.,  nephews, Richard Wooten and D’Angelo Thompson.

Cheryl leaves to cherish her memory one son, Derick and daughter in law Chana Mitchell of Pflugerville, Texas; two step-daughters, Lisa Woods of Cibolo, Texas and Sarell (Marquel) Penny, of Saint Hedwig, Texas; two brothers, David W. Thompson, I and Darrell Thompson; four sisters, Jeannette (Clifford) Forrest, Sr., Charline (Kenneth) Burks, Sr., Darlene (Michael) Smith, and Lori (Kenny) Thompson; six granddaughters, Sydney, Ashanti, Kaylah, Asiyah, Aaliyah, and Amber; one uncle, Leroy Gant, one Aunt, Willie Mae Thompson,  mother in law, Dorothy Littles, numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces  where she played a loving part in raising some of them as her own.

Cheryl's legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will forever resonate within the hearts of those she touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, March 29, 2024, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home Chapel.
