Brisha Q. Moore

Brisha Hernandez Moore, leaves to cherish and celebrate her life legacy: her beloved husband Jesus Hernandez, her beautiful daughter Amiya Hernandez-Moore. Her parents: Ernest “Tee” Wilson and Phyllis Kan Moore-Wilson, and her in laws Jesus T Hernandez and wife Armandina Hernandez. Her two brothers Shawn Dion Moore, wife Nina Moore and Gavilan Dominic Moore. Her sister in laws Monica Baez, Griselda Rodriguez, and Aidee De La Luz. Grandparents Jim E Moore and Josephine Moore.

Brisha’s Aunt’s & Uncle’s: Cynthia Moore, Ivory Moore, Chalesa Moore, Jim E Moore Jr, and Marilyn Moore. Brisha’s niece Ziella Zelentina Moore and nephews TyRu Dion Moore, Jabari Terrance Moore, Issac Vairo Moore, and Gavilan Dominic Moore Jr. and a host of aunt and uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones.

On the afternoon of November 3, 2017 @ 3:53pm, Brisha Hernandez Moore was called to her eternal rest. She was born on March 25, 1981 in Austin, Texas to Ernest Wilson and Phyllis Moore Wilson. She graduated from Del Valle high school in 1999 where she played volleyball, track and field and was on the basketball team. Brisha attended Blinn College and Texas State University, where she studied to be a teacher.

Brisha was a very loving and caring person, who lost her battle to Sarcoidosis and Pulmonary Hypertension at the young age of 36. Brisha and Jesus were blessed with a beautiful daughter Amiya, who was the center of her world. The Lord blessed Brisha to have a year and nine months with her baby Amiya. Brisha loved her family and life itself. She kept a smile on her face and it was always a blessing to be in her presence. Her spirit was amazing and she was loved by so many people.

A Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, November 9, 2017 Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Brisha’s Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 10, 2017 First Baptist Church Elgin. Interment will follow at the Elgin Latin Cemetery.
