The Reverend Bobbie Jean Fikes was promoted to Glory on May the 5th, 2017.
Bobbie was born September the 19th, 1942 to Ralph LeRoy and Dolly Ruth Melton in Irondale, Missouri.
Bobbie is survived by her husband, Reverend Norman E. Fikes of Bastrop, Texas, son Ralph E. Fikes and wife Kim of Pflugerville, Texas, daughter Shawna Lehman and husband Scott of Harrah, Oklahoma.

She is also survived by sisters Grace Chamness, husband John of Perryville, Missouri,
Cecelia Melton of Tucson, Arizona, Miriam Teague, husband Tim of Elgin, Texas, brothers Ralph Melton Jr., wife Lori of Austin, Texas, Rodney Melton, wife Sharon of Oro Valley, Arizona. She is also survived by numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nephews, Nieces and a LARGE extended family!

A special thanks to the members of the End Tyme Fellowship Church and the Creedmoor Union Church for their kindness during this period. Thanks also to the Bastrop Christian Ministerial Alliance, Bastrop Senior Center, Friends at the Settlement Estates, Guiding Hospice Inc., and to Encompass Home Health.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 20, 2017 Bastrop Senior Center, 1008 Water St. Bastrop, TX 78602.
