Billy B Machen

October 25, 1931 — August 3, 2020

Billy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ebbie Machen, on Oct 25, 1931, in Bastrop, Texas. He married Jo Ann T. Machen on Nov. 131973, in Bastrop, Texas, and together they raised four Step-children.

Billy was a cowboy through and through! You rarely ever saw him without his cowboy hat and boots, out working cattle on horseback or fixing something on the ranch. He always loved taking care of his horses and cows and being outside.  After all the work was done for the day, he enjoyed going to dances with his wife Jo Ann and family. Billy and Jo Ann made quite a pair on the dance floor too. Billy also loved to play dominos, “Study long, Study wrong!” and “Go to the bone pile” were his favorite sayings. If you weren’t very hungry at the table, he was quick to say, (“You must be living on Love"), and chuckle with a grin. Billy loved having family and friends visit, telling stories and catching up. His love for riding horses and joking around with his children and grandchildren, are cherished memories never to be forgotten.
