Barron Keith Haywood was born on May 2, 1972, to Mary Haywood and Roger Lee Williams of Austin, Texas. He graduated from Austin High School in 1990 and enlisted in the US Army in 1991 serving six years. Barron moved from Austin, Texas to Hampton, Virginia then to Atlanta, Georgia and returned to Austin, Texas to live with family.
He is a graduate of St. Leo University and the University of Phoenix with a BA in Accounting and MBA in Business. Barron is the author of the book Living 2 Die or Dying 2 Live that was published in 2012. Barron accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age. Barron attended worship services at Mt. Pleasant P.B. Church in Cedar Creek, Texas and later attended services at Judah Praise Ministries in Austin, Texas.
Barron is preceded in death by his father, Roger Lee Williams, and stepfather, Walter John Smith.
He leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Mary Haywood of Del Valle, Texas, sister, Kimberly (Tony) Scott of Del Valle, Texas, daughter, Terren Haywood of Hampton, Virginia, and a host of relatives and friends.
A Viewing will be held from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow at a later date at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 3:00 PM.
