Arpan Shrestha, born in Kathmandu, Nepal on October 17th, 2004 passed away unexpectedly on December 23rd, 2022. He was 18 years old. He came to the USA as a bright eyed, precocious 8 years old, and spent the majority of his life in the Austin-Round Rock area.

Arpan was a freshman at the University of Texas, studying pre-med and living in the honors dorm. He graduated among the top of his class from the Stoney Point High School in May 2022, attended Walsh Middle School in Round Rock and the Harmony School for his elementary education. He was an exemplary student throughout his life and was aspiring to be a medical doctor.

Arpan loved weight lifting. He was an inspiration to his friends and family on healthy eating and exercising. He liked anime, playing basketball, listening to music, dinner parties at homes, and spending time with his little brother and friends. Arpan loved nature and spent his Sunday mornings biking and hiking with his parents and brother.

He strongly believed in giving back to the community and volunteered in many organizations in his short life. His wish was to be an organ donor. He gave the ultimate gift of life to many through multiple organ donations.

He is survived by his loving father, Nabin, mother, Binita, younger brother, Arnav, both sets of grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family spanning three continents and many friends.

Services in his honor will be held on Friday, December 30th, 2022 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home.
