Allan D. Paiz

Allan Dee Paiz entered this world on May 8, 1978, and began his eternal life in the presence of the Lord on August 31, 2024.

Allan was born in Sterling, Colorado and spent his first years in the rural community of Ovid, Colorado, where he lived surrounded by many who just absolutely adored him. After relocating to the Austin, Texas area, he continued to grow and thrive still surrounded by family and friends who treasured his presence in their life. He moved to Elgin, Texas in 2018, where he resided until his unfortunate decline in health.

Allan loved the Lord, his family and his friends. He spent his spare time playing his guitar and keyboard, woodworking projects, and shopping at goodwill for his next home improvement endeavor. He was lovable, compassionate, witty, intelligent and a blessing to those who knew him.

Allan is preceded in death by his Grandparents Alfonso and Louise Paiz; Grandparents Delbert and Lucille Metheny; Grandma Mary Martin; Uncle Dave Metheny and Aunt Dale Metheny; Uncle Sam Paiz and Aunt Janie Paiz; Cousin Ashlee; Cousin Sheila; Cousin Gabriel and Cousin Renee.

He is survived by his parents Martin and Sandy Paiz; the Ray and JoAnn Paiz Family; the Robert and Rose Paiz Family; the David and Janalee Paiz Family; the Alfonso Jr. and Susan Paiz Family; the Bob and Elia Rutherford Family; the Randy and Heidi Paiz Family; the Penny Metheny Family; the Tim and Stephanie Metheny Family; and many, many more that were close to his heart.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Bastrop County Food Pantry.

A visitation will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday, September 4, 2024, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Allan's Life beginning at 1:00 PM.
