“Auction Jackie” Elliott - 1928 – 2010 - passed away Sunday after a long illness. Best known locally as the soul of BlueMoon Auction, she never hesitated to share with humor the wisdom she gained on her travels through life.
She is mourned by her daughter Tanya Elliott, her best friend James Lawson, her adopted daughter Melissa Rackel, all of Elgin, and her sons Charles Elliott of Palestine, Texas and Thomas Elliott of Idaho Springs, Colorado.
Her remains will be entered in Atlanta, Georgia.
