Laurinda Marburger

Laurinda Marburger, 82, of Elgin, TX. passed away Monday, August 16, 2010 in Temple.

Laurinda was born on August 8, 1928 to Henry and Laura Fickel in Lexington, Texas. Laurinda grew up in Lexington, TX. On August 24, 1943, she married Erwin Marburger in Lexington. Shortly thereafter they moved to Austin. She worked for the Austin School District in the cafeteria. They moved in 1983 to Elgin and there she became a homemaker. She loved to cook for her family.

Laurinda was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Elgin.
Laurinda was preceded in death by her parents, son Michial E. Marburger, 1 sister and 2 brothers.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Erwin of Elgin; daughter Pat Dungan and husband Ron of Georgetown, TX, 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010 from 6-8 PM at Elgin Providence Funeral Home, Elgin, TX.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010 at 10 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, Elgin, TX. Burial will follow at 1 PM at Capital Memorial Parks in Pflugerville, TX.
Memorials may be given to Grace Lutheran Church, Elgin, Texas.
