Margaret L. Burchard, 79, of Elgin, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2010 in Austin, Texas.

Celebration of Life services will be 10: 00 AM on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Elgin Providence Funeral Home with Ronnie Gregory officiating.

Margaret Burchard was born June 25, 1931 to the late Drebon and Mae (Faber) Dudley in Jacksonville, TX. In 1942 the family moved to Austin, Texas. She met and married Charles Burchard in August 27, 1948 in Austin.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Charles of Elgin, children: Fran Green of Austin, Michael Burchard of San Antonio, Linda Myers of Manor, TX, two sisters; Audrey Boutwell of Marble Falls and Donna Lewis of Spicewood, six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

They donated to many charities.

Services are under the arrangements of Elgin Providence Funeral Home.
