Emma Louise Smith

Dedicated wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Emma Louise Smith was born on January 23rd 1932 in McDade Texas and passed into God's hands on March 29th 2017. Louise lived in McDade her whole life and then in 1950 she married Pete Smith. She had two children Lana in 1951 and Bubba in 1953. In 1984 she was blessed with her one and only granddaughter Ashley Danielle Smith who she adored. Louise love to spend her days cooking and doing any kind of arts and crafts. Louise love to make things for other people, sell them in shops around town and entering her beautiful work into 4-H clubs where she was highly recognized and received numerous trophies, ribbons, and awards.

Louise was devoted to her husband and loved her family with all of her heart. Louise also extended her love to so many other people over the 85 years she was on this Earth.

Louise was predeceased by her parents Willie and Faye Taylor. Her loving husband Pete Smith and siblings Charlton Taylor Jack Taylor and Dorothy Foster.

Louise leaves behind her two children Lana and Bubba, granddaughter Ashley Smith and great-grandson Tyler Ray Norby along with numerous nieces nephews and other loved ones.

A viewing will be held 12:00-5:00 PM Friday, March 31, 2017, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Louise's Life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 1, 2017, McDade Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the McDade Cemetery.
