David Mccoy

David M. McCoy, (79) passed away with his wife by his side on February 28, 2017. They shared 28 happily blessed years.

Born in Grand Junction, Colorado on February 12, 1938. He lived the majority of his adult life in Albuquerque, New Mexico and moved to Elgin, Texas in 2015.

David was a member for the First Baptist Church of Elgin and he volunteered with meals on wheels. He enjoyed walking his dog, talking with neighbors and visiting the local shops and businesses in downtown Elgin.

He is survived by his wife, Linda McCoy, their four children; Gwen McCoy, Danny and Jane Jernigan, Jill and Lance Hunter of Albuquerque, New Mexico as well as Brandace and Brent Hudson of Georgetown, Texas, along with eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 4, 2017 First Baptist Church of Elgin, 205 W. 2 ^nd St. Elgin, TX 78621. Reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to First Baptist Church of Elgin Building Fund.
