Rosa Tabarez

Rosa Garza Tabarez, age 65, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends, at St. David's N. Medical Center on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 6:40 a.m.

She was born March 10, 1951 in Mathis, Texas to the late Billie G. Webster & John Garza.

Rosa will be remembered for her love of family, love of her church, enjoyed selling Avon, meeting new people, dancing, traveling, and going to the movies. she will especially be remembered for her laughter..it was contagious, she loved having a good time.

Rosa was preceded in death by her husband Ynacio Tabarez Sr. and her sister Susie Garza.

She leaves behind her 3 children, daughter: Linda Tabarez & husband Jose Quirindongo, son: Ynacio Tabarez JR, Son: Daniel Tabarez & wife Mary Tabarez, grandchildren: Daniel Leonardo Tabarez, John Anthony Tabarez, Vanessa Delacruz, Dezerae Delacruz, Valerie Delacruz and 2 great grandchildren: Khristian & Kai., Loving sister-in-law & caregiver: Maria Tavarez. Sisters: Mary Herrera, Joleyn Segura and Cindy Garza. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, September 23, 2016 with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 24, 2016 Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
