Daniel Walton Sr.

Daniel Curtis Walton Sr., age 82, of Elgin, passed away peacefully from this life Monday, August 29, 2016.

He was born April 12, 1934 to Tucker Norvell and Ruby Juanita (Weddington) Walton in McGregor, Texas.

Daniel proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was a Korean War Veteran. He was loved by all that knew him.

Daniel was proceeded in death by his parents and nine siblings.

He is survived by his children Daniel C. Walton Jr. and wife Tayna of Elgin; daughter Marjorie Dorrow and husband James of Boerne and daughter Stacy Walton also of Boerne, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, September 1, 2016, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held 1:45 PM Tuesday, September 6, 2016, Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX.
