Crystal Dixon Archer

Crystal Maureen Dixon Archer, 38 of Lexington, Texas was called home to be with The Lord on Monday, August 15, 2016.

She was born on January 3, 1978 in Austin, Texas to Robert and the late Bonnie Dixon of McDade, Texas. Crystal was a 1996 graduate of Elgin High School and worked in the banking industry for most of her career.

Crystal LOVED life and she especially valued the time spent with her family, friends and her pets. She had a huge soft spot for animals. She had THE MOST infectious and extraordinary laugh and was rarely seen without a big, beautiful smile on her face.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her Grandparents W.L. and Hortense Carney and Cecil and Pearl Sullivan.

Crystal is survived by her husband, Brandon Archer and daughters Ashley Archer and Kylie Rieger. Parent-in-Laws: Darren and Theresa Archer and son Cody Archer. Bubba and Melba Catchings and their children; Katrina, Eliza and Austin Catchings. Grandparent-in-Laws: James and Dorothy Archer, Garvan and Lois Meredith and Great Grandparent-in-Law: Stella Hibbs, Sister Andrea Hurst and husband Matt and their children; Katelynn Benson and husband Tyler, Matthew, Chase and Kynley. Great Niece Ava Benson and Brother Patrick Dixon.

She is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many, many friends that were each very special to her.

A Celebration of Crystal’s Life will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, August 20, 2016, Milam County Cowboy Church, 2100 N. Hwy 77, Rockdale, Texas.

In Lieu of flowers, if so chosen, Crystal would have loved for us to contribute to animal rescue. She frequently visited the “Friends of Bastrop County Animal Shelter” website at bcasfriends.org and shared information on animals in need of rescue.
