Louis Dell Branton

Louis Dell Branton Sr., (82) of Bastrop, went to be with his heavenly father Monday, August 8, 2016.

Louis was born to Dell and Maud Branton on July 27, 1934. He joined the Marine Corps and served in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legions and McDade Baptist Church. Louis was a representative for Boss Blinds and Steiner Binoculars and Knives. Louis enjoyed camping and fishing, but mostly he loved and adored his children and family. November 20, 1999 Louis married Judith “Crickett” Kyes whom he spent the rest of his life loving.

He is preceded in death by both his parents.

Louis is survived by his wife Judith “Crickett” Branton of the home. His six children; Lou Ann Martinez, Lorry Lamppert, Marriane Whited, Lisa Rosenbalm, Kevin Hodnet and Louis Dell Branton Jr., and his Six grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Rita Honey and brother Virgil Branton, along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2016 and Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 9:00-5:00 P.M. each day at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home.
