Ben Tatum

Benjamin Franklin Tatum (65) of Lexington went to be with his Heavenly Father Friday, May 27, 2016.

Mr. Benjamin Franklin Tatum was born to R.E and Magnolia Tatum in Bentonia, Mississippi on January 9, 1951. He was there 9th child.
In October 1971, Ben met the love of his life, Addie Howard. They married on April 2, 1972 and had 5 wonderful children. Ben and Addie were married for 44 years prior to his passing. Early in life Ben went to Job Corps where he later became a carpenter where he retired after 33 years of service. Even after retirement he still continued to build. Ben even built the house where he and Addie retired in. Outside of work Ben loved to fish, that was his true passion.

He is preceded in death by both his parents.

Ben is survived by his loving wife Addie, their Five Children; Nate, Quentin, Chris, Jean, and Jeannie. Five Grandchildren. He is also survived by 6 Brothers and 3 Sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 29 2016 Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home
