Cheryl Cecil Jones

Cheryl Cecil Jones (58) of Elgin passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016. Born in El Paso, TX to Amos and Velma (Griffin) Paxton.

Cheryl was a Cab Driver in Austin for 30 years before retiring. She loved to fish with her husband. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing bingo and poker. If you knew Cheryl you knew she was a social butterfly and always on the go.

She is preceded in death by both her parents and daughter Sally Frierson.

Cheryl is survived by her husband Curtis Jones, her children; Johnathan Beeson and wife Annabelle, Michael Jones and wife Teresa, Curtis Ray Jones Jr and wife Shelly, Brittany Jackson, Kaari Champagne, and Shelin Roberts. Her 19 grandchildren; Sarah, Amber, Lily, Venessa, Victoria, Jimmy, Anthony, Michael, Jordan, Raelynn, Kaylee, Leela, David, Devanee, Evairer, Daisey, Carolina, Veronica, and Joey, and her 3 Great-Grandchildren; Ma’Coy, Ka’Sarah, and Sa’Myia, and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, May 6, 2016 Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 7, 2016. Interment will be held 11:15 A.M. Tuesday, May 10, 2016, Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
