Ruth Marie Allcock

Ruth M. Allcock, born July 29, 1922, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 15, 2016 at the age of 93. She is survived by 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Denver L. Allcock.

She was a Bible Scholar, Sunday School Teacher and Ladies Minister for most of her adult life. She has touched many lives and been a mother figure to many women that needed love and nurturing. Her dream to write a book about her life with the Lord came to fruition in July 2015 when her book “Clay in the Potter’s Hand” was published.

Always the giver, her proceeds from her book sales go to the Jewish Voice Ministries that reaches out to bring the Jewish people back to Israel and feed the hungry who have been forgotten. She believed in their mission to help others.

Visitation is Friday February 19th 6-8 PM at Assemblies of God, Bastrop Texas. Celebration Service is at Saturday morning February 20th at 10 AM at Assemblies of God. Graveside Services will be private for the family.

In lieu of flowers, she asked that a donation to Jewish Voice or to Touch of Joy Ministries be made in her name.
