Bobby Joe Coffey

Bobby Joe Coffey age 83, of Lexington, was born October 14, 1932 in Austin, TX., and went to be with our Lord on December 29, 2015 at the age of 83 from injuries suffered in an ATV accident at his home on October 15, 2015.

Bobby was the son on of William David and Abbie Coffey, he is preceded in death by parents, his son Jack David Coffey and daughter Bobetta Coffey Bishop.

Survivors include his wife of 60 yeas Judie Branum Coffey, of Lexington, TX. Brother William David Coffey Jr. and wife Estelle of Austin, sister Georgia Simons of California, Lou Knudson of Georgetown, TX, Daughter Kellye Coffey McEvers and son in law Blake McEvers of Crandall, TX. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, Jason Bishop of Dallas, Chad Bishop and Fiancée Ashley Hollinsworth of Red Oak, TX, Jamie Coffey and wife Jackie, Kory Coffey Gonzalez ad husband Jamie of Waxahachie, TX, Dre Bishop and wife Jennifer of Mesquite, TX. Bobby and Judie were blessed with 8 great grandchildren, Ella, Bella, Skyler, David, Dylan, Davyn, Ashlyn, Camile. Numerous nieces, nephews and countless treasured friends.

Honoring Bobby as pallbearers will be Jack Ruthven, Blake McEvers, Gary Bailey, Kenny Merrill, Jamie Coffey, Jamie Gonzalez, and Drew Bishop.

In Lieu of flowers the family respectfully request that donations be made in Bobby’s memory to Knobb Springs Baptist Church or charity of your choice.

A Celebration of Bobby's Life will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 31,2015, Knobbs Springs Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Burns Cemetery.
