Earl Fred Haverland

Earl Fred Haverland, 77, of McDade, TX, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2015 in Austin, TX.

He was born November 17, 1938 to Herbert and Amanda (Eschberger) Haverland of McDade, TX.

Earl was drafted and served 2 years in the U.S. Army. Earl married his darling wife Inez (Farris) Haverland on December 17, 1960 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Paige, TX. They would have been married 55 years on December 17, 2015. Earl worked for the Texas Highways department as a truck driver.

Earl was preceded in death by his Father, Herbert Haverland; Mother, Amanda Haverland; Brother, James Haverland; Granddaughter, Sarina Hilcher, Jim Allen Farris and Carol Farris.

He is survived by his darling wife Inez Haverland of McDade, TX; Daughters, Lisa and David Hilcher of Lexington, TX., Beverly and Mark King of Austin, TX., Grandson’s Ricky Hilcher of Lexington, TX., and Justin Mayfield and wife Brooke of Hutto, TX., Great-granddaughter Alyssa Hilcher of Lexington, TX. His Sister Dorothy Tschatschula of Round Rock, TX., Brother Willie Haverland of McDade, TX., Brother-In-Laws, Royce Tschatschula of Round Rock, TX. Hurbert Farris Jr. of Lexington, Robert Farris of Bastrop, TX., Fred Farris of McDade, TX., John Wayne Farris of McDade, TX., Curtis Farris of McDade, TX., and Douglas Farris of McDade, TX. Sister-In-Laws; Evelyn Wolf of McDade, TX., Lois Pace of Buda TX., Linda Farris Carpenter of McDade, TX., and Linda Haverland of McDade, TX.

Pallbearers are: Mike Haley, Allen Buie, Fred Farris, Joseph Farris, Bryan Farris, Norman Owens, Doug Braneff and Micheal Tharp.

A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, November 20, 2015, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the McDade Cemetery.
