Walter Villalpando Jr.

Our beloved brother Walter Villalpando Jr. was united with his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 18, 2015.

He was born on November 16, 1948 in Austin, Texas. Walter was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Susie Villalpando. He will be missed by his only child- son, Nick and wife, Susie. His grandchildren, Nicholas and Bella Villalpando had a special bond with their grandfather and will miss spending time with him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a special relationship with each of his grandchildren.

Walter was retired from the Austin Independent School District. He was a lifelong member, baptized in 1961, of El Buen Pastor Presbyterian Church in Austin where he served the Lord with a sincere heart. He served as an Elder, participated in the men’s group, and volunteered for Vacation Bible School and various other capacities. We thank God for brother Walter and for all his work at the church. He was loved by all who knew him for his sincere and enjoyable character.

There will be a service to celebrate Walter's life on Saturday, October 3rd at 5 pm at El Buen Pastor Presbyterian Church located at 1200 Willow Street, Austin, TX, 78702, (512) 478-2221. Your prayers are desired and appreciated.

For those who would like to formally honor his memory, in lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to El Buen Pastor Presbyterian Church- Reverend Bassette Fund which helps families in need.
