Peggy Joyce Nippes

Peggy Nippes of Bastrop, a 3 time survivor of breast, lung, and skin cancer, lost her battle with liver cancer August 15, 2015. She passed peacefully at home.

Peggy was born in Comanche, TX. March 18, 1942. She was a long time bookkeeper for HEB, but has been retired for 25 years. She was an avid animal lover especially large parrots, macaws, and dogs.

She is survived by her husband Bill Nippes, son Terry Diset, granddaughter Tara Diset. Three sisters Barbara Barnes, Sheila (Frank) Hogan, and Vicki Burch, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside Service will be held at Old Red Rock Cemetery, Saturday, August 22, 2015 10:00A.M with her niece Rene Cunningham Officiating.
