Shirley Ann Wenzel

Shirley Ann (Kerlin) Wenzel, 65 years of age, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at home, surrounded by her family.

Shirley was born December 15, 1949 to Herbert Lawrence Kerlin and Lillian (Moehnke) Kerlin in Taylor Texas . She retired from U.T. Austin in 2000. Shirley loved her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed going to all of their sporting events.

Shirley is preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband Amos Wenzel, mother, Lillian Kerlin, her 3 children; Hugh (Michelle) Wenzel, Darrell (Cheryl) Wenzel, and Amy (Johnathan) Richter, grandchildren; Jacob, Grady, Hayley, Megan, Hayden, Reagan and three grand-pups. She is also survived by her siblings; Jimmy (Brenda) Kerlin, Dennis (Susan) Kerlin, and Peggy Sue Buschow.

A Celebration of Shirley's Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 13, 2015 Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
