Clarence “Lee” Rogers (Papaw) went to his heavenly home peacefully on May 15, 2015, at the age of 78.
Lee was born in Arcoma, Oklahoma, on July 6, 1936, to the late LD and Alice Rogers. He was a loving husband, brother, father and papaw. He enjoyed spending time with his Family and was a very spiritual man who enjoyed playing music at church. Lee was one of the best musicians many of us know. Most of all, Lee loved his wife of 55 years dearly, “Oh, Lucy”.
Lee was preceded in death by parents and his son Phil.
Lee is survived by his wife Linda Rogers of Elgin Texas, Sister Pat (Edward) Heyer, Daughter Karen (Danny) Easley, Daughter Sherry (Don) Voorhis, Daughter Vicki (Jeffrey) Loeve, Grandkids; Jona Rogers, Doyle Lee (Aleshia) Harkins, Scott (Kelsie) Harkins, Kristi Harkins, Wesley (Kristin) Schroeder, Justin Schroeder, Clayton Loeve, Jacob (Ashley) Loeve, Whitney (Lorenzo) Lizardo and Eleven Great Grandkids.
A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, May 18, 2015, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Lee’s Life will be held 11:00 Am Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at the Yegua Creek Evangelical Free Church. He will be laid to rest in the Type Cemetery.
