Donnie Ray Urbanovsky

Donnie Ray Urbanovsky, age 69, of Elgin, Texas went to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ, Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Donnie faced numerous battles with his health. He fought for his earthly life until his Savior called him home.

He was born July 26, 1945 in Caldwell, Texas to Ludwig and Lydia (Brinkman) Urbanovsky. Donnie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved the Lord and his family dearly. He was a successful CPA and enjoyed serving his clients. The stories and time they shared brought joy and laughter. He was also a business owner and most of all cattle rancher. Donnie loved his cattle and continued their care up to the day of his surgery. Donnie truly loved the Lord and would ALWAYS tell you that he was “Blessed”. He was a very generous and benevolent man.

He is preceded in death by both his parents.

Donnie is survived by his wife of 49 years Nancy (Werny) Urbanovsky, son Jeffrey (Leslie) Urbanovsky; daughter Donna (Tim) Faske and grandchildren Malorie (Heath) Pace, Morgan and Mitchell Urbanovsky, Casey, Clayton, and Colton Faske, great-grandsons Weston and Landon Pace and step great-grandchildren Madison, Makenzie & Megan Pace . His sister Laverne (Norman) Boehme, brother Elwood (Janet) Urbanovsky, sister-in-law Doris Kreusel, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held 6:30- 8:30P.M. Friday, May 15, 2015 Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Donnie’s Life will be held 1:00P.M. Saturday, May 16, 2015 Holy Word Lutheran Church in Austin. He will be laid to rest in the Caldwell Masonic Cemetery in Caldwell.
