Richard Leslie Terry

Richard Leslie Terry age 63 of Elgin, passed away Friday, February 13, 2015.

Richard was born January 1, 1952 to George and Margaret (Miller) Terry in Edinburg Texas. He was an Eagle Scout, member of the Order of the Arrow and very involved with the Boy Scouts for many years. Richard was mechanic and equipment operator but he was a jack of all trades and craftsman as well. He loved working with wood, metal and on tractors but. He could build anything.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother, George Michael Terry.

Richard is survived by his mother, sister Dorothy Matheson and husband Charles Edward Sr, niece Ellen, Pollick, and nephew Brian Matheson. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Richard’s Life will be held 11:00 Am Saturday, February 21, 2015, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home.
