Mr. James King Jr. was born August 11, 1935 to Mr. James King Sr. and Mrs. Osie Mae (Denmon) King in Bastrop County. He was the oldest of twelve siblings.
He professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized under the leadership of Reverend Aaron Mackey at Lakeview Baptist Church. His education consisted of attending the Lyons and Elgin school districts.
Proceeded him in death was his father James Nelson King Sr. and one brother Travis L. King.
He met and married Birdie B. Brazial in January 1955.
He leaves to mourn his memory of a loving mother Mrs. Osie Mae King of Kyle, Texas, a son Donnell King of Waco, Texas, daughter Evone Marie Durst, step-daughter May Jane Brazial both of Snyder, Texas, brother Arthur Ray King (Della), Leslie B. King, Howard L. King all of Farmington, New Mexico, L.D. King of Austin, Texas, C.L. King of New Orleans, Louisiana, Sisters Hattie Mae Jett (George-Deceased), Charles Etta Milligan (Robert), Evelyn Faye Organ (James) all of Austin, Texas, Ruthie Mae Greathouse (G.L.) of Yoakum, Texas, and Margie R. Harris (G.C.-Deceased) of Kyle, Texas. Eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A special friend Elnora Higgins of Manor, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
