Dr. James Alan “Jim” Noble, age 73 of Elgin, Texas, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014.
Jim was born to William Geddes and Juanita (Hutchins) Noble November 8, 1941 in Dallas, Texas.
Jim attended Baylor University and continued on to Baylor College of Dentistry. He loved to watch the Baylor Bears play football. He practiced dentistry for over 40 years in the Dallas area and retired in Elgin near family. Jim served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Jim was a great conversationalist and he enjoyed meeting new people.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, William G. Noble Jr.
He is survived by his sister Gloria Noble Haas. Daughter Julie Joesel, her husband Keith Joesel, their children Klayton and Kenneth Joesel. Daughter Jennifer Casto, her husband Brian Casto, their children Jacob and Isabella Casto.
A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Laurel Land Funeral Home, located at 6000 R.L. Thornton Freeway, in Dallas, TX 75232. His family will be receiving visitors at 10am. A memorial will begin at 10:30am.
Following the Memorial, Jim will be buried at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, during a private ceremony.
