Joyce Williams

Miss Joyce Williams was born to the late Lloyd Williams and Irene Williams on April 11, 1940 in Bastrop county Texas. She attended Littig and Kinbro Schools. She professed a hope in Christ at an early age at the Shiloh Baptist Church, Littig, TX. under the pastorage of the late Reverend W.B. Jones, and late Reverend B.T. Paige and presently Reverend L.R. Wilson, where she remained a faithful member until her illness.

Joyce departed this life on Monday, November 24, 2014 at St. David’s Hospital Austin, Texas. Both parents and grandparents, two brothers Mr. Eugene Williams, Mr. Floydell Williams, one sister Mrs. Jeannie Patterson, an infant sister and infant brother, a maternal Aunt Arie Birch preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two sisters Valay Charlton of Beaumont, TX, Dorothy Williams of Austin TX and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, two special friends, Nora and Ruby of Walnut Hill Convalescent Center.

A viewing will be held Friday, November 28, 12:00 P.M – 7:00PM. Celebration of Life Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 29, 2014, Shiloh Baptist Church in Littig. Interment to follow Littig Cemetery.
