Sterling Wayne Carlson

Sterling Wayne Carlson, age 36, of Paige, passed away Friday, October 17, 2014.

He was born on August 29, 1978 in Pontiac, Michigan. Fondly known as Wayne to his family and friends, joined the Navy after graduating from Rockport-Fulton High School in 1997. After his stint in the Navy, Wayne worked as a machinist for several years.

Wayne was known for his kindness an unwavering loyalty to his family and friends. He had a sincere and special love for his mother, father, and two sisters. He recently moved back to the family farm to help take care of his ailing grandmother, whom he loved dearly.

He is survived by his father, Sterling R. Carlson (Burchelle), his mother, LaRue Kyle (David), his sisters, Lauren Gerulis, and Amanda Carlson Allwood (Shawn), his niece and nephews, Cheyenne, Tyler, and Ryan as well as numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

A visitation will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, October 23, 2014, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home with Celebration of Life Services beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in the McDade Cemetery.
