Wanda Florine Carlson

Wanda Florine Hollingsworth Carlson passed away peacefully at home with her family in Paige, Texas on October 5, 2014.

She was born in Spicewood, Texas to Jasper and Belle Hollingsworth on November 1, 1931.

She was married to Richard Carlson for 67 wonderful, happy years. Wanda spent her life caring for her family. She was charitable, kind and helped many people in need.

She made quilts for each grandchild and great-grandchild and many others. Wanda was an animal lover and we never knew what animal we might find at her house.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Richard on March 5, 2014.

She is survived by 5 children, Linda Ricardi (Rick), Sterling (Burchelle), Don (Rita), Michael (Verna), and John (Kathy), brother, Roy Hollingsworth, brother-in-law, Charles Carlson. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Wanda’s Life will be held graveside 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 7, 2014, McDade Cemetery, McDade TX
