Charles Lester Smith age 65, of Elgin, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014.

Charles was born July 29, 1949 in Dover, Ohio to Arthur and Mildred Mae (Meese) Ball.

He liked hunting, collecting steins and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Charles is survived by his sister, Saundra Serl and husband Wray, brothers; Arthur R. Smith and wife, Alba and Vernon N. Smith and wife, Kathy.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
