Cynthia Raburn

Cynthia Diane Raburn, 67, died at home with her loving family surrounding her on Tuesday, August 26, 2014.

Born September 2, 1946 in the panhandle of Texas, and resided in Bastrop, Texas since 1980 until the day she died. Cindy had a passion for decorating. She used this beautiful gift decorating her children’s school cafeterias at Christmas time, making holiday wreaths, and candy bouquets. She volunteered for The Bastrop Chamber of Commerce.

Cindy was preceded in death by her mother Maurgarite Stall, father Mooney Stall, and granddaughter Hailey Pribilski.

Survivors include daughter Christine Kingsbury and her husband Kevin Kingsbury of Bastrop, Texas; daughter Catrina Castaneda and her husband Willie Castaneda of Bastrop, Texas; brother David Stall and sister Mondessa Morton; granddaughter Chelsea Dorfner and husband Derik Dorfner; granddaughter Kayla Kingsbury and fiancé Jory Ritchie; granddaughters Shelby Pribilski, Breanna Kingsbury, and Kirsten Watson; and grandsons Nathan and Matthew Castaneda.

A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, August 28, 2014, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Cindy’s Life will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 10:30 at the Providence Family Funeral Home in Elgin, Texas. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Bastrop.
