Andrew Bradford

Andrew Bradford was born August 4, 1955 to Earley Bradford and Ella Mae Roberson-Bradford in Taylor, Texas.

He was raised in a Christian home with lots of love. He attended school in Thrall and later moved to Bastrop, Texas. He accepted God as a major part of his life and accepted him as his savior.

Andrew met the love of his life Iva Williams in 1972 and later married her in 1976. Within this union two children were born Andrea Bradford, and Evonne Bradford.

May of 1977 he started his career with the University of Texas at Austin as a landscaping grounds crew member, and was promoted to Crew Leader Supervisor. He was a very hard worker and loved his job. Andrew also worked parking and transportation for twelve years part-time with the University of Texas. He was still an active employee until he was called home to be with his Heavenly Father.
He departed this life on Tuesday, July 22, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his parents Earley Bradford, and Ella Mae Roberson-Bradford; sisters Esther Ray Bradford, Ella Louise Henry, Willie Earl McDonald, and Faye Mathis; and his brother Ervin Bradford. He leaves to cherish his memories with his beloved wife Iva Bradford of Austin, Texas; his daughters Andrea Bradford of Manor, Texas, Evonne Bradford of Pflugerville, Texas, and Starla Ashley of Houston, Texas; four sisters Alteris Cathey, Aunt Jerraldine Topsy, Aunt Lean, Aunt Lettie Haywood (Larry Haywood); brothers Alfred Bradford (Arlene Bradford), Stanley Bradford, Jerry Bradford, and Curtis Bradford (Sharon Bradford),ten Grandchildren, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2013, First Baptist Church, Elgin. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery, Bastrop, Texas.
