On Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 6:07 a.m., Wilma Mae Lanmon “Honey” stepped from time into eternity.
She was born October 31, 1925 in Ray, Ohio. Wilma was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Smithville, a deep faith in God was her guide. Her husband, kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids were her life. She loved gardening, canning, baking, and was a wealth of information because she was an avid reader. She was a solace to her family first, but also to all who graced her home; she did more for others from the privacy of her home than most do in service. There was not a selfish or lazy bone in her body. She lived until she died…that was Honey.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Ernest Burton Lanmon; and six Brothers and Sisters.
She is survived by her brother Emerson Anderson; three children Michael Lanmon, Sharon Stecher, and Lorena Lanmon; seven grandchildren Trista McHargue (Brad), Saridon Chambless (Joshua), Jillian Gollihar (Michael), Meredith Roberts (Kevin), Shawn Lanmon, Delainey Wood (Christian), and Alexis Lanmon; and six great-grandchildren Logan, Nathaniel, Aidan, Ivy Heidi, and Riggs.
A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, July 24, 2014 Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, July 25, 2014, Adina Cemetery, near Lexington
