Bruce Allen Dale

Bruce Allen Dale was born on December 30, 1958 to Carolyn Jean (Andrew) Dale and Basil Eugene Dale at Decatur County Hospital in Leon, IA, and passed away on July 14, 2014.

Bruce graduated from Central Decatur High School in Leon, IA in 1978. He worked a short time ranching in the Leon/Lamoni, IA area, and later moved to Austin, Texas where he and his uncle started a tree trimming business. After joining the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers Union in December 1985, he worked for Mid-State Insulation until 2007, when he began his career with Capital Insulation. Bruce met the love of his life, Janice Rogers, while scuba diving and they were married March 4, 1989. To this union were born 3 beautiful children, Jennifer 23, and twins Daniel and Amanda 16. He enjoyed hunting and camping with his family and friends and also enjoyed caring for his cattle and animals, including his Golden Retriever dogs. Bruce and his family have attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in Elgin, TX for the past 20 years.

Bruce is survived by his wife and 3 children of the home, parents of Leon, IA, brothers Kenny and Eric and their families of Leon, Iowa; mother and father-in-law Duane and Patricia Rogers of Elgin, TX, sister-in-law Lynn Rogers as well as brother-in-law Timothy, wife Valerie and his family, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday July 19th, 2014 at the Cornerstone Baptist Church at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to HeartCry Missionary Society via Cornerstone Baptist Church.
