Clara Nell Webb

Clara Nell Webb age 84 of Elgin, Texas went home to meet her Lord and Savior Monday, June 30, 2014. Clara was born November 16, 1929 in Walters, Oklahoma to John and Lena Mae Cotner. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Elgin. Her greatest joy in life was her family that she loved and cherished. She was a loving, kind, and talented Christian woman who was loved by all who knew her. Clara loved to sew and was an expert seamstress. She was beloved by the many people she served with her talented hands and will be sorely missed. She was preceded in death by her parents John Cotner and Lena Mae Cotner, two sisters Mary Stanley and Nora Phillips, her beloved daughter, Ginger James and grandson Kevin Alexander. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bob Webb; brother Bill Cotner of San Antonio; sister- in- law and brother- in- law Stan and Ada Johnson, daughters, Kathryn McGee, Jeanne Bracewell, Bobbe Alexander and son-in-law Keith Alexander; all of Elgin. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren; 21 Great-grandchildren; and numerous Nieces and Nephews. A Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Clara’s life will be held 10:00 am Thursday, July 3, 2014 at First Baptist Church, Elgin. She will be laid to rest at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
