Anita Cantu Paiz

Anita Cantu Paiz age 101 of Elgin joined her Lord and Father on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 2:20 a.m., she was surrounded by her family when she passed. Anita was born November 30, 1912 in Alice, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Gregorio Paiz Sr.; daughters Aminta Sanchez and Sylvia Paiz; and son Ramonsito Paiz. She is survived by Elva Rodriguez and husband Basilio; Ramon Paiz and wife Ernestina; Rene Paiz and wife Amelia; Diana Benitez and husband Bennie; Hilda Rodriguez and husband Hilario; Joe Luis Paiz and wife Lana; Gregorio Paiz Jr.; 37 Grandchildren; several Great-Grandchildren, and Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Viewing will be 10:00am-8:00pm Friday, April 11, 2014. Funeral Services will be held 10:00am Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Providence-Jones Family Chapel. Interment will follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
