Robert "Bob" Lee Aderhold

Robert (Bob) Aderhold, 87 of Elgin, Texas died Sunday, March 2, 2014 after declining rapidly from cancer.


Bob was born November 10, 1926 to Bailey and Minnie Mulkey Aderhold in Cowpens, South Carolina.

Bob served in ETO as a Military Policeman in 1945. He attended Southwestern University in Georgetown where he played football. He retired from the Austin Texas DPS after 31 years in 1982. He will be missed by loving wife and family.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers Jack, George (Billy), and Joe; sisters Katy, Nellie, and Mary; and son Robbie Aderhold.

Surviving him is his wife of 62 years Dorothy Wuthrich-Aderhold; son Ronald Aderhold; daughter Beverly Caifa; granddaughters Katy Roberts (Chris), and Brandi Aderhold; great-grandson Fisher Roberts; and many nieces and nephews.


A Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Wednesday, March 5, 2013, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held 11:00am Thursday, March 6, 2014, Providence-Jones Family Chapel; with Graveside Services being held at 2:00pm, Cook Walden Capital Parks Cemetery, Pflugerville, TX.
