Joyce Ann Williams-Collins was born on February 3, 1957 in Taylor, Texas to Reverend R.D. Williams and Mrs. Irene Meeks-Taylor. She attended school in Elgin ISD.

She professed her faith in Christ at an early age where she attended Winns Memorial Baptist Church.

She was employed by Austin Independent School District, where she later retired.

She was preceded in death by one Son, Michael Dawon Collins, Paternal grandparents, Mr. Johnny Williams and Mrs. Pinkie Williams and Maternal grandparents, John L. Meeks and Edna Meeks.

Joyce Collins is survived by her husband Mr. Larry Don Collins, one daughter, Twanna Shontae Collins, one grandson, Larry Dawondre Sutton, Father, Reverend R.D. Williams, Stepmother, Thelma Williams, Mother, Irene Meeks-Taylor, Stepfather Willie Taylor, two brothers, Roy Williams (Delores), Daniel Williams (Shelondrea), a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM -8:00 PM Thursday, August 22, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Home Going Celebration will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 23, 2013, Pleasant Bethany Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Westbrook Memorial Gardens.
