Bille Ruth Turner

Billie Ruth Bennett Turner, 87 of Bastrop, formerly of Elgin, passed away Sunday June 23, 2013 at her home.

Billie was born on February 3, 1926, in Brownwood, TX to Earl Wilson Bennett and Agnes Delight Sims Bennett.

Billie was preceded in death by her Parents, and husband Louis Rogers and her son William “Bill” Rogers Turner.

She is survived by Mary “Dee” Delight Wilkinson and husband Tommy of Bastrop, TX, Dolores Leah Shook and husband Dale of Cedar Creek, TX., Linda Sue Green and her husband Wes of Fort Worth, TX. One sister Marjorie Glaser and husband Kenneth of Georgetown, TX. Billie is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, June 26, 2013, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, Elgin. Celebration of Life Services will be held 11:00 Am Thursday, June 27, 2013, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at McDade Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home.
