Samuel Claude Shotwell

Samuel “Claude” Shotwell, 83 of Davilla, TX passed away Sunday afternoon, June 16, 2013 at the Cameron Nursing Center.

Claude was born October 9, 1929 to William Huey Shotwell and Emma Catherine Shotwell the youngest of six children.

He was preceded by his parents and siblings; Albert, Jewel, Gladys, Ruby, and Radie Mae. Claude was a farmer and worked for Coffield Ranch for many years. He attended the Davilla Baptist Church in Davilla, Texas.

Claude is survived by several nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be at the Davilla Baptist Church on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 9:00-10:00 A.M. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in the Davilla Cemetery.
