Lewis Edward Hennington

Lewis Edward Hennington, 70 years old of Elgin, TX, passed away on June 15, 2013.

Lewis was born in Austin, TX on September 20, 1942. He graduated from O.L. Price High School. Lewis proudly served his country in the U.S. Army & Reserves.

He enjoyed traveling, reading, playing pool, ping pong, cards, and listening to his records. During retirement, he also loved watching sports and spending quality time with his family.

Lewis is survived by his beloved wife Veretta Hennington, son Timothy Anderson, daughter Loriel Hennington, daughter Amber Hennington, daughter April Hennington and her husband Kirshan Murphy, grandchildren Ayra and Djoser Murphy, brother Kenneth Hennington, his loyal dog Rowdy Hennington, and other family and friends.

His four children find comfort in remembering what a wonderful father he was in their life.

Lewis is preceded in death by parents Curly and Lee Hennington, sister Ruby Nell Hennington, brother Alvin Hennington, and his man’s best friend Blaze Hennington.
