Gloria Patricia George

Gloria George, age 72 of Elgin TX by way of Brooklyn New York went home to heaven on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 11:00pm.

Gloria George was born on the Island of Grenada to Eileen and Mr. Croney.

She was an active member of First Baptist Church, Elgin Texas and enjoyed living for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She is Survived by her husband of 42 years, Winston George, Children; Simon and Marlon, grandchildren; Kennedy, Ruby, Marlisha, Marcus, Aiesha, great-grandchildren; Diamond, Justin, Kamara, Siblings; Germain, Donna, Gwendolyn, Winston, Wilfred nieces; Patricia and Hazle, great nephew; Matthew and great nieces; Breana and Ghira.

We as a family are gad to say that Gloria lived her life for the lord and encouraged everyone around here to do the same. We know with out a doubt that she is in heaven with Christ.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday,June 10, 2013, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday,June 11, 2013 First Baptist Church in Elgin. Interment will follow at Elgin Cemetery.
